Meet Nicole

Hi! I’m Nicole! I am a Licensed New York State licensed acupuncturist in Island Park, New York.

I graduated from Tri State College of Acupuncture in New York City where I was fortunate enough to learn three different styles of acupuncture. (Who knew there were so many styles, right?) Learning three different styles and different techniques has allowed me to customize and individualize each treatment based off each individual's needs. 

 

People often ask me “how did you get into acupuncture?”. From the age of 7 to 20, I was a competitive gymnast. I was introduced to acupuncture when my body started to feel aches and pains due to the demand of the sport. I was amazed and curious about how acupuncture worked. Not to mention… I was also petrified of being stuck with a bunch of needles. I wanted to learn more about how my acupuncture treatments were helping my body feel restored and allowing me to deal with the physical stress my body was going through. That was it, I knew what I wanted to be when I grew up! 

 

Discovering how my body and mind felt with incorporating acupuncture into my lifestyle gave me the drive to want to share this with others. I enjoy living a very active lifestyle and want my body to always feel it’s best self. If you can’t find me in the office there are a few places you could find me… 1. The gym. 2. The beach 3. My couch (yes, I said it. I love some down time!). I love finding what works best for me mentally and physically. I’ve learned and have helped others discover how to feel their best self!
